Our Trusts and Estates Practice Group provides estate planning and administration services to individuals and families residing in New York, Pennsylvania and Florida. The services we provide are individually tailored to assist individual clients and their families in realizing their estate planning and charitable goals through the use of tax-advantaged property transfers and creative planning. Our firm is adept at the prompt development and implementation of virtually every estate planning technique successfully practiced today, including simple and complex Wills, Living Trusts, Durable Powers of Attorney and Living Wills, Health Care Proxies and Health Care Directives.

In appropriate circumstances, we assist clients to establish and administer any of the most technically-advanced planning mechanisms currently used in estate planning, including Irrevocable Life Insurance Trusts, Qualified Personal Residence Trusts and Grantor Retained Annuity Trusts.

A significant portion of the Trusts and Estates Practice Group's planning services involves planning for the orderly transfer of closely held business interests and business succession planning.

In addition, our Elder Law Practice Group provides a large array of estate planning and transfer planning services specially designed for elderly clients and clients with special needs or disabilities. Our firm provides executors, personal representatives, trustees and beneficiaries, with a full range of administration services, including representation in contested and non-contested probate and trust matters. Supported by a large team of highly-skilled estate and trust administration paralegals, our attorneys provide reliable efficient administration services. The Trusts and Estates Practice Group includes several litigation attorneys who represent clients in estate controversies. Our firm acts as general outside counsel to a number of not-for-profit entities, public charities and private foundations. In addition, we are skilled at planning major charitable gifts, including establishing Charitable Remainder Trusts and Charitable Lead Trusts, and the formation and administration of private foundations.
