Terrance McGuiness attended the March 10, 2011 Broome County Bar Association Continuing Legal Education program on Health Insurance Law.

Greg Catarella chaired a February 2011 Broome County Bar Association Continuing Legal Education program focused on Medicaid "Chronic Care" or "Skilled Nursing Home" program, as well as Medicaid eligibility under the Medicaid Assisted Living Program (ALP).

Patricia Curtin attended the January 2011 New York State Bar Association Health Law Section Annual Meeting on "Classification is Critical - Worker Misclassification Issues under the New York State Labor Law, the Workers Compensation Law, and the Internal Revenue Code."

Jeff Loew attended the February 2010 American Health Lawyers Association Physicians and Physicians Organizations Law Institute.

Patricia Curtin completed the December 11, 2009 WebCast CLE on Ethics for Health Care Attorneys--Lawyer as Business Associate, pertaining to the implementation of the HITECH Act. The Program was sponsored by the NYSBA Health Law Special Committee on E-Health Information Systems

Alyssa Barreiro presented at the January 2009 NYSBA Annual Meeting, Elder Law Section Update, on "Anatomy of a Nursing Home Admission Agreement" at the New York Marriot Marquis.

Patricia Curtin was recently appointed to the New York State Bar Association Health Law Special Committee on E-Health Information Systems.

Paul Hoffman was recently re-appointed to the New York Association of Homes & Services for the Aging (NYAHSA) Legal Services Committee.
